The King of Pop graces the new issue of Make-Up Artist magazine - as the Super Ghoul of make-up specialist Stan Winston's film, as part of an article featuring those who applied make-up to Jacko, and helped him create disguises for shopping trips.
Richie Alonzo, who created Jackson's Mayor look for Ghosts, recalls the pop star insisting on visiting a local Toys 'R' Us store in costume.
Alonzo says, "He had a suit to change his form a bit, and prosthetic hands and full head and wig."
And make-up experts Michael Westmore and Steve Johnson have revealed they worked on elaborate disguises specifically for Jacko's shopping trips.
Johnson tells the publication, "I did two disguises for him at the time we were designing his robotic transformation for the Smooth Criminal video, around 1987.
"He was not comfortable with me taking pictures of him in the finished make-up... He had a lot of fun running rampant in public, with him totally unrecognisable."
And Westmore, who had helped to create disguises for government officials, admits he was called in to create "a variety of prosthetic noses and dentures" for Jackson.
