Internet reports suggest the legendary broadcaster, 92, has been ill for some time but he has taken "a turn for the worse."

CBS News anchor and longtime Cronkite colleague Bob Schieffer tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "All of us are praying for the best, and our thoughts are with Walter's family."

But Schieffer noted he had no current news on Cronkite's condition.
