The How I Met Your Mother star and his partner David Burtka were recently rumoured to be planning to have a baby, with U.S. magazine Star reporting the pair had found a surrogate mother to carry their child, inspired by expectant parents Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick.

Harris insists the reports are not true, but does not rule out having children in the future.

A representative for the couple tells AfterElton.com, "No, we are not currently expecting a baby. Maybe someday??
