Nowhere Boy, which stars Aaron Johnson and Kristin Scott Thomas, tells the story of Lennon's childhood in Liverpool, England.

But his 46-year-old son has reservations about the movie, which is directed by Sam Taylor-Wood and will be released on the 29th anniversary of Lennon's death in December (09).

He says, 'It's weird. I know what I know, I like what I know, and I don't like some of what I know and I don't particularly want to see someone else's variation on that. But Sam seems extremely nice and the film looks as though it will be something interesting.'
