The Big Love actress has been linked with a string of eligible Hollywood bachelors in recent weeks including Justin Long and Cabin Fever actor Joey Kern.

But Goodwin has revealed that she fuels the rumours herself, so she can hide her real love life.

The 30-year-old tells People.com, "I perpetuate rumours that I've dated people that I've never actually dated. Dorothy Parker once said something along the lines of 'I don't care what's written about me so long as it isn't true.'"
