The backyard of Paltrow and husband Chris Martin's Los Angeles home hosted a star-studded gathering of celebrity pals and their kids, reports People.com.

The guest list included Paltrow's ex Ben Affleck and his daughter Violet, three; Liv Tyler and her son Milo, four; and the families of Iron Man director Jon Favreau and Steven Spielberg.

All the kids present dressed as their favourite superheroes - but Moses' wasn't interested in becoming Iron Man for the day; the tot, who turned three last week (08Apr09), dressed as Batman.
