The passengers, including Lawrence, escaped injury after driver Ray Hall briefly lost control of the vehicle when a tyre blew out as he was driving the singer and his band back to Nashville, Tennessee after a concert.

Lawrence, his tour manager and three bandmates joined the rest of the singer's backing group on another bus.

The relieved star says, "Everyone walked away unscathed."

No other vehicle was involved in the incident.
