The pair bickered in the media over the rapper's headlining role at the Glastonbury Festival in England in June (08).

Gallagher criticised the decision to let a rapper perform at the traditionally rock 'n' roll event, and Jay-Z fired back by covering Oasis hit Wonderwall at the start of his Glastonbury set.

But the guitarist reveals the rapper reached out with the offer of a collaboration, only to be snubbed by the 41-year-old.

Gallagher reveals, "(I told him) I'm afraid I'm busy.'"
