The TV presenter, who is expecting twins, raced to a Los Angeles-area hospital, where she was relaxed and released on Wednesday (18Feb09).

Sheen's publicist Stan Rosenfield says, "Brooke was admitted... with premature contractions, which is not all that uncommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins. She's fine."

The 31-year-old is due to deliver twin boys in April (09).
