50 CENT KEEPING A LOW PROFILE ON INAUGURATION DAY
Rapper 50 CENT was among the millions of Americans in Washington, D.C. for President BARACK OBAMA's historic inauguration on Wednesday (20Jan09) - but he steered clear of becoming a public face at the celebration, because he wasn't among those invited to

Speaking before the big day, 50 was making plans to watch the inauguration from "a really nice hotel room" in the U.S. capital - and sources confirm the rap star did indeed make the trip.

But 50 isn't planning to become one of the celebrities to publicly declare his support to Obama on Inauguration Day - because he wasn't asked to.

He tells HollyScoop.com, "There's a whole lot of people out there for no reason doing different things. If Obama didn't invite you, you really shouldn't be there; that's how I feel about it. When I go to places when people didn't invite me they look at me crazy like, 'Why is he out there?'"

But 50 has spoken out about one thing - he admits he is worried about how the new President will solve America's recession: "I think he inherited the country in a difficult state... I hope for all of our sake that his plans work for us."
