The spat began in 2005 when Flowers claimed he wanted to "destroy emo", believing certain rock bands' gloomy lyrics were a bad influence on kids.

But rocker Wentz, whose pop star wife Ashlee Simpson gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli in November (08), says his new-found fatherhood has put the feud in perspective.

He says, "My biggest public regret is the fall-out with The Killers. Fatherhood has made me see our feud is petty bulls**t."
