ADRIEN BRODY and MARTHA STEWART

The Oscar winner was a guest on Stewart's U.S. TV show on Tuesday (02Dec08), when she attempted to show him how to create a Cosmopolitan.

But she was stunned when a piece of a faulty mixer launched in her face, sending the red drink splashing into her eye and drenching her clothes.

Mopping up the mess from Stewart's sweater, Brody said, "That's why they give us virgin drinks (backstage) because we'd have no excuse. I don't care, believe me - it's the most exciting thing that's happened to me on my press tour. Martha spilled a shot and it's all before 10am."

Brody was on the show promoting his new film Cadillac Records.
