The singer's company, R. Kelly Touring, filed court documents on Monday (06Oct08) seeking a judge's confirmation of the award granted against Rowe Entertainment last month (Sep08).

Kelly claims Atlanta-based Rowe Entertainment and owner Leonard Rowe failed to pay him in full for shows scheduled for late last year (07) and early 2008.

An arbitrator agreed with Kelly's claims and issued the award.

Documents show Rowe disputed the arbitration, but did not offer any defence during a recent hearing.

R+B star Ne-Yo recently won a $700,000 (GBP388,000) judgment against Rowe Entertainment. He sued the company after he was axed from Kelly's tour after only two shows
