The 16-year-old performs backing vocals on her dad Eric Benet's new album, and is joining him on tour promoting the LP, Love and Life.

And she is already dreaming of her own music career. India - whose mum Tamia died in a car crash when she was just 15 months old - says, "I really really do (want to sing). I want to get my education and everything first though."

And Benet - who raised India with Berry during their marriage, which ended in 2005 - is convinced she has what it takes: "She has a beautiful voice."
