The hitmaker admits he was surrounded by the wrong people and knew the project would be a bad idea, so he walked away.

He tells Complex magazine, "It was just bad... Just a s**tty arrangement."

But he still has big plans for his acting career: "I'm working with (movie mogul) Joel Silver so we're producing something, and I'm doing some television things with (Charlie's Angels director) McG."
