GORDON BROWN and AMY WINEHOUSE
Brown - who took over Britain's top government role from Tony Blair last year (07) - isn't fazed by the singer's turbulent personal life, because he is in awe of her vocal talents.
And the Labour party leader believes any negative press the Back To Black star receives is unjust - insisting the soul sensation is simply "misunderstood."
He tells U.K. tabloid the Daily Mirror, "Amy is incredibly talented, with an incredible voice. I'm a big fan. She may be troubled but as much as anything I think she is simply misunderstood.
"She (Winehouse) is as talented as she is misunderstood."
