The baby girl, named Nina Lauren Nenitte De La Hoya, was born on Saturday (29Dec07) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, weighing a healthy 7 pounds, 13 ounces.

The couple, who married in 2001, announced the pregnancy in May (07) shortly after De La Hoya lost a major match in Las Vegas to Floyd Mayweather.

De La Hoyer, 34, already has a two-year-old son, Oscar Gabriel, with pop singer Corretjer and has two other children from previous relationships - Jacob, nine, and Atiana, eight, whose mother is Dancing with the Stars contestant Shanna Moakler.
