BRENDAN FRASER and AFTON SMITH

The Mummy star, 39, and wife Afton announced their separation on Wednesday (26Dec07).

Fraser's publicist, Ina Treciokas, says, "They continue to maintain a close and caring friendship."

The couple wed in 1998 and have three children.
