ZEPPELIN SPARK ALBUM RUMOURS
Legendary rockers LED ZEPPELIN have sparked rumours of a new album after unveiling a previously unheard track at their reunion gig in London on Monday (10Dec07) night.

Jimmy Page and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin

The one-off gig was played in memory of their late friend and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun who died in December 2006.

The band wowed the audience at the O2 Arena with renditions of classic hits including Black Dog, Stairway To Heaven and Whole Lotta Love in a set which lasted over two hours.

However, fans are now hopeful of an album featuring lesser-known material after the group unveiled For Your Life - which had never been played in front of an audience before - half way through the set when frontman Robert Plant announced, "This is our first live adventure with this song."

The band had previously dismissed rumours of a new album and refused to speculate on whether they would play any more live dates, despite reports that The Cult frontman Ian Astbury had confirmed he would be playing a series of live dates with the music legends next year (08).
