JERRY SEINFELD in 'Bee Movie' promo
The comedian researched his role as a cartoon bee in the film by visiting a beekeeper - and he felt so confident, he chose not to wear protection.
Seinfeld recalls, "The beekeeper said, `You don't need to wear any protective gear because, if you handle bees properly, they will not sting you.
"Well, he didn't know what he was talking about and I think he got excited that he had a celebrity come and look at his bees.
"He said, `Do you want to see the Queen?' and I said, `OK,' so he started pulling things out, looking for the Queen. Well the bees weren't too crazy about that. They like the Queen to be left alone: `Don't mess with our Queen!'
"So they sent this bee on a suicide mission - to get me. I felt like I was stung by one of my own."
