DITA VON TEESE

Von Teese - real name Heather Sweet - has only appeared in a handful of small film roles to date, but director Fiennes believes she is already primed for the role.

Fiennes says, "Dita has done a little acting before and I think she can handle it. In fact, I approached her myself. She is perfect for the part."

But Von Teese will have plenty of time to practice for the role - the filmmaker doesn't plan to start shooting until late 2008.

She adds, "I have written the script but it will probably need some developing, so I don't expect filming for another eight to 10 months."

Hari - born Margaretha Geertruida Zelle - was executed in France in 1917, after she was exposed as a double agent during World War I.
