ROBERT DE NIRO and MICHAEL MANN

The two-time Oscar winning actor, best known for gangster movies including Goodfellas and Casino, and Mann last joined forces on the critically-acclaimed 1995 crime thriller Heat.

Now the pair are working on Frankie Machine, based on the Don Winslow novel The Winter Of Frankie Machine, in which De Niro will play a former mobster forced out of retirement.
