Christopher Jarecki and Alicia Silverstone

The Clueless star met Jarecki outside a movie theater in 1997 - but Silverstone, 31, refused to marry him in fear of growing up too soon.

She says, "I didn't want to be married because I was still in my early twenties and I didn't like the prospect of calling myself a wife.

"Now I love calling myself a wife."

Silverstone married Jarecki in a beachfront ceremony at Lake Tahoe, Nevada in 2005.
