The actor's girlfriend, Clytie Lane, gave birth to the couple's first child last Wednesday (03Oct07).

The Cape Fear star, who has a son from a previous marriage, and Lane have yet to name their child, who was born in Los Angeles.

Nolte's spokesperson says, "The baby girl, who has yet to be named, weighed seven pounds and 13 ounces at birth. Both mother and daughter are doing well."
