The Robert Redford-directed thriller, which stars Cruise and Meryl Streep, is the first film released under the UA banner since the movie star and his production partner Paula Wagner took charge of Charlie Chaplin's famous film studio last year (06).

The film has already been selected to open the Los Angeles Film Festival in November (07), and now it will be among the major attractions at the London Film Festival next month (Oct07).

The festival opens on 17 October (07) with director David Cronenberg's Eastern Promises, and it will close on 1 November (07) with Owen Wilson's latest movie The Darjeeling Limited.
