About the movie, Southland Tales is set in the futuristic Los Angeles, as it stands on the brink of social, economic and environmental disaster. Boxer Santaros (Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson) is an action star struggles to hold on to his identity following a bout with amnesia. His wife, Krysta Now (Sarah Michelle Gellar), is a pornstar who is trying to developing her own reality television project, and Ronald Taverner (Seann William Scott), is a Hermosa Beach police officer. Somehow, they intertwine to uncover a vast conspiracy.
