The 61-year-old actor - who stars in the upcoming Pink Panther remake - wore an Inspector Clouseau moustache for the occasion, according to People.com.

The 75 guests - who included movie legends Tom Hanks and Diane Keaton - believed they were attending a party, until the bride appeared in a stunning Vera Wang gown.

Martin has been dating the New Yorker journalist Stringfield, 35, since 2002.

This is his second trip down the aisle - he was previously married to L.A. Story co-star Victoria Tennant.
