The Motley Crue drummer was recently left red-faced when he recently hired a helicopter to woo Kimberley and attempted to land the aircraft in the garden of Stewart Snr's Los Angeles mansion - only to be told by authorities to move on.

But Lee's crazy idea has won the praise of the veteran rocker.

Stewart says, "I've tried some manoeuvres in my time to pursue a woman, but I've got to admit this is a pretty strong move.

"Attempting to land a helicopter in my garden just to impress my daughter... That is quite something!"
