Tony Curtis celebrates his 82nd birthday at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Las Vegas, Nevada - 02.06.07

The Some Like It Hot actor arrived in a wheelchair for his 82nd birthday celebrations at the Luxor ballroom in Las Vegas on Saturday (02Jun07).

Curtis spent several days in a coma after contracting pneumonia in December.

He says, "I was unconscious for four days. I was hospitalised for seven weeks and lost all motor skills. I couldn't walk, and my hands were numb.

"But I'm healthy now, and I'm predicting I'll walk in 10 days."
