Terri Irwin has been left stunned by the love sent her way after Steve was killed during a stingray attack off the Queensland coast in Australia in September (06).

Speaking to U.S. chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, she says, "I can't thank everyone enough. It's a long road that I've got ahead of me but the love and support, the letters from America, the outpouring of sympathy - he wouldn't have believed it.

"He was a very humble man, he would have been just shocked."
