Videographer Coleman Laffoon has been granted shared temporary custody of the couple's five-year-old son Homer and Los Angeles Superior Court authorities ignored the actress' plea to terminate the court's jurisdiction over spousal support.

Instead they awarded Laffoon $19,000 (GBP9,500) in child and spousal support for May (07).

But that's not quite the figure Laffoon had in mind - he filed papers earlier this month (May07) asking his estranged wife for $33,000 (GBP16,500)-a-month in spousal support.

Laffoon filed for divorce in February (07) after Heche's romance with Men In Trees co-star James Tupper hit the headlines.
