When casting for new movie BOBBY, Estevez was worried Lohan's partying antics would prevent her from keeping up with his tough filming schedule, so he asked ELIJAH WOOD for a second opinion, and he says they were both blown away when they met her.

He tells Empire magazine, "Lindsay's agents kept pushing her. I'd heard horrible stories, so I said, 'Is she interested in being thought of a serious actress? Because this schedule can't support anybody misbehaving.' They assured me, 'Yes, she wants to meet with you.'

"So I called Elijah and said, 'I need you to come to lunch today.' I wanted another opinion, especially from the actor who would be in most of her scenes.

"It ended up as a love-fest. We laughed, we told stories, she understood the script and the role and was committed. She left, and Elijah and I looked at each other and said, 'She'd be fabulous.'"
