Veteran rockers PINK FLOYD have given permission for the first time to allow another artist to use a sample from one of their songs.

Swedish DJ and producer ERIC PRYDZ, best known for his 2004 dance anthem megahit CALL ON ME, will release PROPER EDUCATION, using the music from Floyd's ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL (PART II).

Proper Education will be released on 1 January 2007.
