Blink-182 formed in San Diego, California in the early 1990s and enjoyed 12 years of success with hits like ALL THE SMALL THINGS and I MISS YOU, before going on "indefinite hiatus" last year (05).

Barker has since written DeLonge off as a friend, insisting the way he ended the band reveals his true personality.

He says, "When one of your dearest friends, who you've known for 12 years, doesn't have the balls to personally call you and tell you he doesn't want to be in a band anymore, it's pretty easy to write that dude off. It's not hard to never think about a guy like that again.

"That's how it was for me. I realised, 'Ah, okay. That's how you are! After all this time I've finally seen your true colours.'

"From then on, it was very easy for me to dismiss him."
