The ARE YOU GONNA BE MY GIRL hitmakers admits they've grown tired of being in such a haze on tour and want to enjoy the sights of the world this time around.

Drummer CHRIS CESTER says, "We took it pretty far with that stuff. (Cocaine's) a really nasty drug that affects your creativity and just compounds your paranoia. And it stops you from thinking in a forward manner.

"It was only when we wiped ourselves clean off that stuff that the band started to come back around to its original enthusiasm."

Bass player MARK WILSON adds, "You can't play well (drunk)... I want to see the world this time. I don't want to be sleeping all day and get poured on the stage because I had so much to drink the night before and then play a s**t show and then go back on the tour bus and get drunk again."
