MADONNA's eight Wembley Arena sell-out concerts have trumped BILLY JOEL's 12-night stand at New York's Madison Square Garden to top the highest Billboard Boxscore gross of 2006.

Madonnna's August (06) concerts at Wembley grossed over $22 million (GBP12.2 million) - $3 million (GBP1.7 million) more than LUIS MIGUEL's run of shows at Mexico City's Auditorio Nacional and Joel's record-breaking stand in New York.
