The former ER star admits she's often left scarred by the films she sees and she enjoys swimming too much to risk checking out STEVEN SPIELBERG's 1975 movie.

She says, "I hate being outright scared. I hate riding roller coasters. I don't bungee cord jump. I jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet and I vowed never to do it again. I just think life is hard enough. I don't need to be scared.

"That's why I never saw Jaws. I learned how to swim out in Long Island when I was a little kid and the water to me is such a peaceful place.

"My father taught me how to swim and he would say, 'Go with the waves, always go with the flow because if you fight it you'll drown and if you don't you'll always end up on shore,' and there's was something peaceful about that.

"As a kid I used to just lie there and let the salt (in the water) hold me up and I just remember being little and saying, 'I'll never see Jaws because I'll never go back in the water.' So I've never seen it."
