CHARLENE TILTON

Bel Geddes, who starred as MISS ELLIE, the Ewing family matriarch, in the cult television series died of lung cancer last August (05).

Her death came as a blow to former colleague Tilton who looked up to the veteran actress for support when Dallas' meteoric success propelled her into the limelight.

The 47-year-old says, "That was a shock to me. I cried so much, as she was a great personality. I always felt so comfortable around her. She was a woman who was able to show her feelings. I see her as an idol, she is my role model."
