GEOFFREY RUSH

The SHINE star is furious developers have ignored planning guidelines and is calling on his neighbours to join his protest.

Rush is currently filming in England, but has written a letter to be read out at a protest in Melbourne today (30MAY06).

It reads, "The developers call it a landmark. I call it an eyesore. It drops Melbourne design and urban planning aspirations into the moron basket."
