The WHEREVER I LAY MY HAT singer's wife STACEY had allegedly been enjoying an intimate friendship with Israeli businessman ILAN SLAZENGER.

But the couple have rubbished the rumours, insisting Slazenger, who sells properties in Spain, is merely a professional contact.

She fumes, "It's total rubbish, I have three wonderful children and a 20-year marriage."

Young says, "He's a business associate."
