When the couple, who 'married' in a civil ceremony in December (05), do fall out, it is usually over a small issue, and humour quickly brings them close together again.

He explains, "I think every artistic person has a temper. I think artistic people are more prone to more outburst than others.

"We have rows every so often, usually over the smallest thing. It's usually if one of us is tired.

"We've had a thing where I threw a bottle of Plax (mouthwash) at him at the hotel in New York, which exploded all over the bathroom and we started laughing.

"We haven't had too many rows at all. He's pretty good at calming me down and I'm pretty good at cheering him up if he's in a bad way."
