JEANETTE KRYLOWSKI claims the publication of the HOME ALONE star's semi-autobiographical novel JUNIOR has opened old wounds for his father.

Kit has been estranged from his son for over a decade, after enduring a bitter custody battle with his former wife PATRICIA BRENTRUP.

Krylowski says, "(Kit) is not well, lives quite poorly and does not believe he will ever see any of (his seven kids) again.

"Kit walked away to stop the hate, even giving up his residual earnings.

"Kit never had a bad thing to say (about his family) and it would be wonderful if such dignity was shown by them."
