LOST DIANA ROSS JAZZ ALBUM DUE IN JUNE
DIANA ROSS will release an album of jazz standards she recorded more than 30 years ago for the first time this summer (06).

Diana Ross performs at her sold out concert 'Live Love Tour' at the Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland, 10.03.04

The songs were originally intended as a companion to the hit 1972 soundtrack LADY SINGS THE BLUES in which Ross portrayed jazz legend BILLIE HOLIDAY.

After the film was released, Ross decided to release the pop album TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING instead, and it reached number one in the US.

The BLUE collection was shelved and the master tapes were only recently discovered in Motown's vault.

The album was produced and arranged by longtime Ross collaborator GIL ASKEY.
