Williams will appear in three episodes of US network UPN's show HALF + HALF, a drama about a hard-edged record executive who turns out to be HIV positive.

And bandmate KELLY ROWLAND will appear in another UPN show, GIRLFRIENDS, later this month (FEB06) - as an innocent intern who is not all she appears to be.

Rowland is hopeful her run on Girlfriends might turn into her own sitcom, saying, "We'll see. I would love that."

But the pair have some way to go before they can match bandmate BEYONCE KNOWLES' acting successes - her new movie, THE PINK PANTHER, debuted at the top of the US box office, and she's currently shooting DREAMGIRLS with Oscar winner JAMIE FOXX and EDDIE MURPHY.
