Shania Twain received the highest honor in Canada today. It’s called Order of Canada, which is given when an individual has inspired to make a difference in the world. Shania’s dedication towards getting rid of child hunger is by focusing on programs that serve meals to children. Shania’s strong effort has been recognized by Canadian Governor General Michaelle Jean. Canadian’s only usually receive this honor but sometimes outsiders do too. Accepting this prestigious honor is a lifetime achievement if you are a Canadian citizen. The order was founded in 1967 and the recommended nominees are suggested to the chief of justice of Canada. Shania Twain’s music is known throughout the world influencing millions of-want to be- musicians. She has sold over 21 million copies of her albums.
