Not that one reminisces about the Gulf War but this film "Jarhead" has many similar parts like the Gulf War. British director Sam Mendes has been hinted that he will get an Oscar for this war film because it is like no other war movie. Expect "Jarhead" to be dramatic, depressing, humorous, and artistic. It is nothing like your typical war films. Mendes made each part of the scene look so real. The desert looked, felt and sounded exactly like a real desert in the Middle East, according to The Australian News. The actors did such a profound job at portraying their roles. The story was so well written, nothing flawed. This movie is from an incredible memoir written by Anthony Swofford that turned into a best-seller. This film will change your memories of the Gulf War and give you the real vision of what was really felt being a part of this history.
