Former Van Halen lead singer David Lee Roth has accepted the offer in taking over radio icon Howard Stern. It is confirmed that Roth is the new DJ talk show host for the most successful radio show in the East Coast. Roth announced it on Howie's show yesterday. He is quitting one job to come to Howie's job and Adam Carolla will take over the West Coast radio slot. Can these two guys keep the 6 million listeners committed to listening to them from now on? And will the revenues be as high as 100 million per year? That is the big question for Sirius Satellite radio. It is a count down until now to January 3, 2006. The director of WBCN is very excited about David Lee Roth taking over. David has a different approach on the radio but has a very out-going personality, so he is definitely a perfect fit. David still has lots of music in his life so he will probably be having a lot of musicians coming on the show. There are lots of changes for the new show starting after Howard leaves. Lots of good changes that they hope will bring in more listeners and revenues.
