Howard Stern the radio talk show icon is leaving his post. I will never be quite replaced; he is like no other talk show host. In January 2006 he will be moving on. His fans are discouraged of his decision. The Howard Stern has been the # 1 show for NY, LA and several other large metropolitan cities. Radio stations that have Howard on everyday will be hit hard through revenues and their audiences will decrease. The listeners of Howard Stern may be curious who will replace him but if that person is not half as good as Howard then radio stations will feel it economically. Billboard Radio Monitor editor in chief Scott McKenzie, looks forward to the challenge in finding the next radio icon like Howard. It's possible.
