He played in "Law & Order" when it first came out back in '95. "Law & Order" was the new and creative drama of investigating crimes. Chris is sad because there is too many police and law dramas on television today. "Law & Order" was a strict environment so taking other roles refreshed Noth. He did several movies but when he took the part of "Mr. Big" in "Sex in the City". He played opposite of Sarah Jessica Parker, one of the leading ladies in the show. Noth was Sarah's on and off again boyfriend. This role made Noth a big success. People still remember when he was on "Sex in the City" more than any role he has ever cast in. Chris Noth has a different way of thinking as an actor. His way of thinking is that he is just a character in the movies, shows and dramas. He thinks that his fans should remember he is a real person when he is walking down the street not one of his characters. But it still blows his mind how people respond to him on the street (the things he did on Sex in the City that his fans can tell him in detail). Noth is leaning towards more roles like "Law & Order" dramas. He wants creative, original dramas and shows to cast in. There are too many shows that are being cloned and that gets boring.
