Nathan Fillion is part of the big hoopla science fiction flick “Serenity”. “Serenity” is premiering in movie theaters all over the country this weekend. Nathan is nicknamed in the movie as “Captain Tight-pants” or his real name in the film Mal Reynolds. Fillion became popular after the movie Firefly. Fillion was a nervous wreck auditioning for “Serenity”, it was not until after Joss (director) called and reassured him that he in deed got the role. Fillion was on ‘cloud nine’ for the first several days on the set. He could not believe he was really apart of the cast of “Serenity”. His character Mal Reynolds is a very dark and scary person. So, to create a balance Nathan off-screen becomes the cast clown. His personality is the complete opposite of his character Captain Tight-pants. Fillion has enjoyed making this movie so much that he prays it becomes a trilogy. He wants to do another movie and another movie and another movie just like “Serenity”.
